Amita Mali, PT, MS, OCS, FAAOMPTPhysical Therapist
Amita Mali grew up in India where she received her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy in 2007. She, subsequently, relocated to Pittsburgh, PA to pursue her passion in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, and received her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy from University of Pittsburgh in 2009. Thereafter, Amita has primarily practiced in outpatient orthopedic centers. She successfully completed her Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) in 2013, and is a Certified Clinical Instructor (CCI) through APTA. Amita was recently recognized as Fellow through American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT), and joins less than 1% of all US Physical Therapists who have achieved fellowship status. She is currently pursuing her certification in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. Lastly, Amita is trained through APTA as a Pregnancy and Post-Partum physical therapist.
Amita enjoys spending time reading, sketching, painting, and organizing social events as her hobby. She currently resides in Metuchen, NJ with her husband.
Jennifer Penn, PT, DPT, Cert. MDTPhysical Therapist
Dr. Jennifer Penn graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, and continued her studies at Sacred Heart to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Jennifer has extended her training in becoming certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). Over the last 7 years, Jennifer has dedicated her physical therapy career working in outpatient orthopaedic facilities treating various orthopedic injuries, post-surgical treatment, chronic neck and back pain, motor vehicle accidents and work-related injuries.
Jennifer has a passion for fitness and wellness and is committed to providing quality patient care to enhance overall quality of life.
Barbara Golej-Figura, OT, CHTOccupational Therapist
Barbara received her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College in Utica, NY, and her Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, with an emphasis in Hand Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia. She earned her hand therapy certification from the American Society of Hand Therapists as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 1992, and has worked in Hand Therapy in a number of facilities in central New Jersey since that time. She is certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapists and is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists, the American Occupational Therapy Association, the New Jersey Occupational Therapy Association, and the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. She has extensive knowledge, and skill, in splinting the hand, wrist, and forearm, while completing static, dynamic, and static progressive splinting. Treatment of the pediatric hand, for the purpose of handwriting, is another area of particular interest to Barbara.
Lastly, she is astute at implementing ergonomic modifications to a person’s work and home environment, to help return the individual to an independent level of function.
Susan Rele, PT, DPT, Cert. MDTPhysical Therapist / Practice Owner
Dr. Rele received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy and is a certified McKenzie Method therapist. She helps patients using advanced manual therapy skills and techniques such as Maitland, Graston Technique and Kinesiotaping, enabling her patients to return to sports, work, and everyday activities. Lastly, she is trained through APTA as a Pregnancy and Post-Partum physical therapist.
Dr. Rele lives with her husband in Mountainside and has two grown daughters.
Brian Tababa PT, DPTPhysical Therapist
Dr. Brian Tababa graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University. Dr. Tababa has experience in outpatient orthopedic, sub-acute and hospital-based rehabilitation settings. Brian also has martial arts experience and is an instructor in Union, New Jersey. He attributes his knowledge on human movement, correct body mechanics and injury prevention to his background in Physical Therapy and martial arts. Brian strives to make every patient interaction individualized and professional in order to provide the best patient care possible. Dr. Tababa also strives to use his past experiences and the most current research to help patients achieve their goals.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys training at his martial arts school, cheering for his favorite sports teams and spending time with friends and family.
Sara Leach PT, DPTPhysical Therapist
Starting sports at a young age of four, Dr. Sara Leach has always loved and been involved in sports and sport organizations. While studying and after graduating from Seton Hall University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Dr. Leach has gained experience in outpatient orthopedic, acute care inpatient and pediatric physical therapy settings. Dr. Leach was also able to experience one of her student physical therapy 12 week clinical affiliations in Denmark, where she developed a better understanding for international healthcare systems. Dr. Leach is committed to providing the very best care and individualized treatments in order to help each patient achieve his or her physical therapy goals.
Dr. Leach is still an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time at the batting cages, going on hikes with her black Labrador retriever and playing on a recreational flag football team.
Dimitri Baldwin PT, DPTPhysical Therapist
Dr. Baldwin graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Howard University in 2011. Upon graduation, Dr. Baldwin has dedicated himself to becoming well versed in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions including post-operative cases, sports related injuries, spinal and musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Baldwin has also received extensive training in Maitland therapy and Mckenzie therapy.
In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his wife, go to the gym, watch movies and attend concerts.
Barbara Reuven, PTCertified LSVT-BIG®
Barbara Reuven’s specialization has been in orthopedics and sports medicine, with extensive training in Functional Movement Screening, McKenzie, Mulligan and Butler. In 2005 she became one of the very few therapists with Advanced Certification in the Structural Integration technique known as “Rolfing”.
Barbara is also certified in LSVT-BIG.
Barbara’s hobbies include training and competing in triathlon events including Ironman. Barbara completed her first full Ironman in Lake Placid NY in 2014.
Marianne Luckenbach, PT, CHTPhysical Therapist
Marianne Luckenbach, PT, CHT is a board-certified hand therapist specializing in the treatment of upper extremity conditions and injuries. She has worked primarily in outpatient rehab and has an extensive continuing education background that includes McKenzie, Sahrmann, PNF and hand rehab.
In her spare time, Marianne enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Ayesha Rele, PT, DPTPhysical Therapist
Ayesha Rele, PT, DPT earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University where she received the award for academic excellence and graduated with distinction. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she studied Health Sciences and was a member of their nationally ranked dance team. As a therapist, Ayesha draws from her various volunteering and patient centered experiences to create a therapeutic alliance and work towards common goals. Her areas of specialty and clinical interest include orthopedics and spinal syndromes, pelvic floor and outlet dysfunction, pregnancy and post-partum disorders, manual based therapy and regional interdependence.
In her free time she enjoys getting outside on her yoga mat, exploring new places and continuing to find ways to learn.
