I can't speak highly enough of my experience at Americare with Ayesha Bhonsle as my pelvic floor physical therapist. This year, I was diagnosed with pudendal neuralgia, chronic pelvic pain syndrome, and pelvic floor hypertonia. This was something I had been dealing with for years because I could not get an accurate diagnosis and it was only getting worse as time passed. The symptoms was excruciating at times, which not only took a massive toll on me physically but on my mental well-being as well.

Ayesha quickly created a program tailored to my needs and patiently guided me through it. She is highly knowledgeable in her field and truly cares about her patients. Ayesha also goes the extra mile; she provided valuable guidance on lifestyle changes that have significantly improved my mental and emotional well-being. I went to see LeAnn for a very serious knee injury and after months of hard work she got me back to feeling 100%. I was referred by my doula, Renee Pizzuto, to see a pelvic floor PT. My insurance did not accept any doctors in my area unfortunately. After many weeks looking for a pelvic floor PT, I came across Ayesha Bhonsle and Marissa Singh with Americare Physical Therapy. They both have amazing bedside manner. In fact, all of the PTs have excellent bedside manner.  I started at 36 weeks pregnant and completed four weeks of PT. During my first visit, I had a severe case of dizziness and the entire staff was able to attend to my needs with urgency and professionalism. I will never forget how I was cared for during my first visit. After four weeks with Americare, I was able to deliver my fourth child, 9 lb 3 oz baby, with no epidural, no cuts/tears (episiotomy) and I was able to go home from the birthing center within two hours. I restarted PT at 6 weeks postpartum and Marissa is currently helping me regain pelvic floor and core strength. The staff (front desk and PT aides) are very helpful as they help entertain my four children while I exercise. After 6 weeks of PT after having my baby, I am not leaking with running water anymore (urge incontinence) and my stress incontinence is improving! I can’t wait to see how much I will improve as weeks pass by. I wish I knew about pelvic floor PT sooner in life. I probably would have been in a better place in my third decade of life. I have been seeing LeeAnn since July 12th for Achilles tendinitis.  I have a tear, fraying in my tendon, swelling and inflammation.
LeeAnn’s knowledge and patience have really made a huge difference in how i feel.  I am not a very patient person! LeeAnn has not only helped me feel better, but has helped me understand my injury and is teaching me how to help myself!
The entire office staff are all very caring and helpful!  Its a smaller facility, with a real personal feel.  I have  been to several other facilities but this one is hands down the best!  They are truly providing me with exceptional care!
