Occupational Therapist, Garwood
Annette Krell received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of Physicians & Surgeons at Columbia University. Upon graduation, she began working at the Manhattan V.A. Medical Center where she developed the Hand Therapy Program. From there, she accepted a position at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery and treated patients requiring complex reconstructive surgery.
As a Board Certified Hand Therapy specialist, Annette Krell has taught Occupational Therapy on the graduate school level and mentored many students along the way. She has worked in the community providing Hand Therapy services at orthopedic outpatient clinics for the past 20 years.
When not working, her priority is spending time with her family. She enjoys kayaking, biking, and yoga. She is always interested in learning, and has recently achieved Certification in Chair Yoga and in Hand Reflexology.
