Physical Therapy News Letter February 6, 2017
Sports Injuries: Now that winter sports like Basketball, Hockey and Wrestling are in full swing, it is important to know how physical therapy can prevent injuries and help the injured athlete return to play as soon as possible.
Sports injuries are injuries that happen when playing sports or exercising. Some are from accidents. Others can result from poor training practices or improper gear. Some people get injured when they are not in proper condition. Not warming up or stretching enough before you play or exercise can also lead to injuries.
Call or stop by AmeriCare to find out about treatment or have a physical therapist create an individualized program to prevent future injuries.
