Susan Rele, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT
Dr. Susan Rele graduated from the Physical Therapy program at Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai, India in 1985. Since then she has worked in several areas of physical therapy including Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, outpatient rehab at Kessler, inpatient rehab, homecare, and orthopedics. Susan is a long-time member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is a certified McKenzie Method therapist.
In August 2014 Susan received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the EIM Institute of Health Professions and completed the Executive Program in Private Practice Management.
Dr. Rele founded AmeriCare Physical Therapy in 2005. She has helped patients using advanced manual therapy skills and techniques such as Maitland, Graston Technique and Kinesiotaping. She uses functional strength training techniques that enable her patients to return to sports, work, and everyday activities. She lives with her husband in Mountainside and has two grown daughters.
Zulay Espitaleta PT, DPT
Dr. Espitaleta earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in September of 2011 from Touro College in New York. She is trained in manual therapy techniques such as McKenzie, PNF, Maitland and Mulligan. Dr. Espitaleta is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Dr. Espitaleta is currently pursuing her certification as an MDT McKenzie Spinal therapist.
In her spare time, she enjoys spinning and taking long walks with her basset hound.
Marianne Luckenbach, PT, CHT
Marianne Luckenbach, PT, CHT is a board certified hand therapist specializing in the treatment of upper extremity conditions and injuries. She has worked primarily in outpatient rehab and has an extensive continuing education background that includes McKenzie, Sahrmann, PNF and hand rehab.
In 2010, Marianne earned her board certification in hand therapy.
Marianne is a long-time member of the American Physical Therapy Association. In her spare time, Marianne enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Harold G. Alaan PT, DPT
Dr. Alaan joined AmeriCare Physical Therapy in April of 2014. He is an assistant professor at Union County Community College. Prior to this, he practiced as a clinical instructor for CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey. Dr. Alaan is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He is a USA weightlifting sport performance coach and does golf injury assessments.
Nancy joined AmeriCare Physical Therapy in 2008. She has provided outstanding service to ensure that our patients’ billing needs are met and taken care of with ease. She looks forward to serving and assisting you with any concerns. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Patient Care Coordinator
Diana joined AmeriCare Physical Therapy in 2010. She has excellent experience in working with our staff to accommodate patient concerns from start to end of treatment. She looks forward to serving you while in our care. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and crafting.
Andrea joined AmeriCare Physical Therapy in the spring of 2014. She is currently a senior at the Academy of Allied Health and Science and hopes to pursue a career in the medical field. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as playing volleyball.
